What is this picnic thing about?
Think
old school picnic basket meets chic luxury dining experience. We've
taken the work out of picnicking, added beautifully created charcuterie
and other food options and turned an ordinary location into a
comfortable place to hang out. All of this is set up and delivered to
your designated picnic site, you just show up and enjoy!
How do I reserve my picnic?
Fill out this form to share a little more about what you have in mind for your picnic. Your picnic can be as simple as just a beautiful set up and you provinding your own food or we have a long list of special food and decor add ons that you can customize your picnic with. As soon as we receive the form, we will email you to confirm availability, as well as send you a specific quote for your exact picnic needs. If the proposed picnic sounds exactly like what you had in mind we will send you an event agreement form to officially secure the picnic date!
How does the picnic work?
Picnics
are set up and ready to go at the location and time of your choice
15-20 minutes before your set picnic time. In public locations we will
communicate with you via text message to insure that you easily find
your picnic. Once you’re there, we are happy to capture some
insta-worthy pictures on your phone, and then we leave you to enjoy the
picnic! At the end of your picnic time we return to clean up and pack up. You’re welcome to leave before the scheduled time, but a 20 minute notification is required to ensure nothing is stolen.
What happens if it rains?
Unpredictable weather can happen. In the event of rain we are always happy to relocate indoors or reschedule to a better time or for a future date. Some food items do require advanced notice and cannot be rescheduled. We will look at the weather predictions with you but it will be each clients individual call on going forward with food items that require advance purchase.
Can my furry friend join?
Of course, we love seeing dogs enjoying our picnics, and encourage you to ask about out our Pupgrade! This adorable package includes sweet treats + a toy to take home, water bowl, and a tie-out stake to tie up your pup. We think picnicking is the best pet friendly activity in Miami!
Am I allowed to bring my own food?
Yes! We also offer charcuterie boards, desserts and other light bites that you can add on if you would like to make your picnic extra stress free and enjoyable. Our proposal page has all of the available options. Let us know the food items that interest you and we will give you a specific quote for each.
Is alcohol permitted?
We do not provide alcohol. You are welcome to bring alcohol where permitted and at your own risk.
How many people can picnic?
Currently, our picnics can accommodate 2-8 people. If you’re interested in having a bigger picnic party, reach out via email/phone and we can discuss your needs and if special accommodations can be made.
What should I bring?
Besides a love of picnicking, not much! We do offer a variety of food we can have set up for you, but you’re also more than welcome to bring any outside treats. We also suggest checking the weather and bringing a sweater along if it’s a windy/chilly day.
Where can we picnic?
We offer our picnics to private residences and to some public beaches and parks throughout Miami.
How far do you travel?
We primarily service Miami and Miami Beach. However, we happily will go to the Keys from Key Largo to Islamorada, north to Fort Lauderdale and Southwest Florida. When traveling outside of Miami for a picnic we do require a minimum purchase.
Where are you located?
We are in Coral Gables in Miami.
What is included?
We provide a Bluetooth speaker, bug spray and a few fun games that we switch out from time to time. 4 bottled waters are included. Each set up includes rugs, pillows, throw blankets, table, place settings and decorative details. A cooler and ice is provided upon request.
How is the picnic sanitized?
After every use all pillow cases and blankets are thoroughly washed. Hard surfaces are all wiped down with disinfectant. Rugs are sprayed with a disinfectant and aired out after each use.
