My style
Comfort with a chic aesthetic. Every picnic should be a visual experience but comfortable enough that you just want to sink in and stay awhile. I’ve always been drawn to light, airy and natural vibes. When it comes to picnics I love combining that feeling with unique, natural, and romantic elements, creating the ambiance to make each picnic a special event.
Where it All Began
I
live in Coral Gables with my two loves, Frank, a life long Miami boy
and our adorable rescue puppy, Athena. Picnic Lane was born out of our limited options for things to do over the past year. Frank
has dealt with severe asthma his whole life and with his underlying condition, we have been extra cautious in avoiding exposure to COVID-19. Like with everyone this has meant not spending time with our groups of friends, avoiding Miami nightlife and for me not hosting and organizing parties like I had always done. In an effort to make the most of the situation I began setting up mini parties for just Frank, Athena and I on the beach and in the park. Date nights complete with my favorite party decor and place settings became our thing. After sharing what I was doing, friends began asking if I could set up something similar for them too... And then friends of friends! And what was my hobby evolved into something so much more! It has become a passion now to help others celebrate all special moments with the same style and comfort that I've enjoyed. Curated picnics and pop-up style picnics are becoming more and more popular and I'm thrilled to now be offering this unique event and party option to all of Miami!
My World
Outside
of the events and picnic scene I'm also a full time student at
Florida International University, sorority sister at my lovely Phi
Mu and actively involved volunteering with several local organizations. I was born in Fort Myers, Florida and briefly lived in both Iowa and Philadelphia before making Miami my home. I am also a travelaholic, vegetarian, cactus lover, occasional book worm and a dessert connoisseur.
